Our third annual Scottish Highland Renewable Energy Conference (SHREC) has now passed but we are pleased to say it was a resounding success, with many saying it was the best yet. More than 200 delegates attended our conference in Inverness to find out more about renewable energy in Scotland.
Highlights of the day included a presentation from Fergus Ewing MSP, Minister for Energy, Enterprise and Tourism. At the event, he announced a £23.5 million government loan scheme to help communities and rural businesses all over Scotland get community energy renewable projects up to the planning stage.
