Members of our Public Sector Group, Derek Hogg, Lee Murphy and Clare Beattie attended the Rural Housing Enabler launch held by Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park on Wednesday 29 June 2011. The Enabler was launched by Keith Brown, MSP for Transport and Housing.
The Rural Housing Enabler is a service which is headed up by Gavin Kennedy and has the purpose of helping rural communities in the National Park tackle affordable housing problems. Gavin is employed by the Rural Housing Service, which is a national charity that aims to address rural housing problems. The Rural Housing Service is supported by the National Park, Argyll & the Islands LEADER and Forth Valley and Lomond LEADER. Gavin Kennedy and the National Park will be engaging with the local community, landowners, financial institutions and affordable housing providers in order to look at ways to provide more affordable housing in the Park.
If you would like further information on the Rural Housing Enabler please contact Clare Beattie.
