MIPIM (a L’Ecosse)

MIPIM, the world’s premier real estate event for professionals, is taking place from 8-11 March 2011 in Cannes, bringing together the most influential real estate professionals to explore major international property development projects, connect with potential partners, and strike deals over 4 intensive days.

Sounds great, doesn’t it?

We’re sure, however, that we’re not the first business to decide that a week down on the French Riviera this year – no matter how worthwhile annual visits to Cannes have been in the past – might not be the most effective use of resource given the era of austerity we find ourselves in.

That’s not to say that we don’t realise the value of the networking opportunities an event such as MIPIM can afford many businesses, and it is to this end that we are hosting our very own MIPIM (a l’Ecosse) Casino Evening at 29 Private Members Club, Glasgow, on Thursday 10 March.

We can’t guarantee the weather, but we are looking forward to a fun evening with interesting, like-minded people from across a range of sectors. The night will kick off with a drinks reception and buffet at 18.30. We will have a number of casino gaming tables in the venue on the night, complete with croupiers and a banker.

Everyone will be able to use their (sadly fake) ‘HM Money’ to spend on the tables in an attempt to win their fortune, and for those who fancy themselves as a bit of a gambler and know when to hold them, know when to fold them, know when to walk away and know when to run, those who amass the biggest fortune on the evening will scoop some fantastic prizes.

And the bar will be cheaper than Caffe Roma too!
