Proposed TUPE Reform: Government’s Bid to Cut Red Tape in Voluntary Sector

The government has recently announced plans to review restrictions imposed on charities by Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE), as part of its strategy to cut red tape in the voluntary sector. This was announced by Nick Hurd, Civil Society Minister, as part of a recent discussion organised by the Directory of Social Change. Click here for further information.
